This policy explains what FairPlay collects, why, how long it is kept and what you can ask us to do with it.
Template notice for the site owner: this page is a working draft written for the local build. Have it reviewed against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and your licence conditions before it goes live, and fill in the operating entity, registered address and grievance officer details.
What we collect
- Account details — name, date of birth, email, mobile number and password.
- Verification documents — government ID and proof of address, collected to meet licence conditions on age and identity.
- Financial data — deposits, withdrawals and the payment identifiers needed to process them. Full card and banking credentials are handled by the payment providers, not stored by us.
- Activity data — bets placed, games played, bonuses claimed, limits set.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and log data recorded when you use the site or app.
- Communications — chat transcripts, emails and support tickets.
Why we use it
- To operate your account, settle bets and process payments.
- To verify age and identity, as the licence requires.
- To detect fraud, bonus abuse, duplicate accounts and money laundering.
- To apply responsible gaming tools, including self-exclusion.
- To provide support and keep a record of what was discussed.
- To send service messages, and marketing only where you have consented.
- To meet legal, regulatory and audit obligations.
Who it is shared with
We share personal data only where it is necessary: with payment providers and banks to move money; with identity verification services; with game suppliers for the games you play; with hosting and analytics providers under contract; and with regulators, auditors or law enforcement where we are legally required to. We do not sell personal data.
How long it is kept
Account and transaction records are retained for the period required by the licence and by anti-money-laundering law — generally several years after an account closes. Self-exclusion records are kept for the length of the exclusion and beyond, because deleting them would defeat the purpose. Marketing consent records are kept until consent is withdrawn.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to personal data inside the business is limited to staff who need it for their role. Optional two-factor authentication protects your login, and we recommend turning it on. No system is perfectly secure, but we notify affected users and regulators where required if a breach occurs.
Your rights
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask for deletion, subject to the retention obligations described above.
- Withdraw marketing consent at any time — this does not stop service messages about your account.
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the session secure, and — with consent — analytics cookies that tell us which pages are used. You can manage non-essential cookies through the banner or your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies will break login.
Children
The service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and any account found to belong to a minor is closed with stakes returned and winnings voided.
Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced on the site and, where the change affects how we use your data, by email. The date of the last revision is shown at the foot of this page.
